Brazer/Assembler

Braze copper piping to form radiator circuits and / or manifolds by performing for the following responsibilities. The ability to learn the basics of brazing and successfully complete a number of test pieces to ensure an acceptable standard has been achieved. Braze together components to assemble copper parts as specified by layout, work order, or blueprints, using hand torch Select torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy from data charts or work order. To be part of the ‘bundle’ assembly team involving the assembly of the bundle to include plate work, fins and copper tubes prior to brazing.  Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

Fin Press Machine Operator

Set up, interpret, operate and verify the correctness of all set-up elements of the numerical control machine to perform correct operation of various machine functions to achieve a quality fin. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine, setup procedures and control settings.  Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

Logistics Shipping Clerk

Oversees the day to day work schedule of the shipping area ensuring all orders are picked, packaged, and shipped according to established procedures.  Ensures all assigned work is completed throughout the day.  Ensures all customized welded and gasketed products are properly packaged for shipping.  Arranges and coordinates product shipments in accordance with delivery schedules.  Coordinates and ensures appropriate quantity, quality and on-time-delivery of After Sales and Service orders.  Assists material handlers, receivers, and shippers in the accurate maintenance of the SAP inventory system.  Inspects parts during the handling process for possible quality issues.  High school diploma or GED required.  Ability to use a computer (proficient in SAP).  Previous forklift driving experience.  Advanced knowledge of rigging standards preferred.  Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

Tester

Performs basic helium leak detection and pressure decay testing in accordance to Kelvion Standards, ASME, PED & UL. Inspects units after testing for bulging and performs inspection of units.  Records data on work orders & transactions in SAP.  Performs SAP transactions real time as parts are being moved between Testing and Warehouse areas.  Packs units in accordance with packing procedures.  Prints and apply appropriate labeling for all units.  Assures quality standards are met and maintained.    Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

Furnace Operator

Operates multiple furnaces used to brazed units and performs testing and de-jigging/ stud welding as needed.  Load and unload units into furnace.  Makes up thermal wire assembly.  Performance basic maintenance and cleaning of furnaces.  Assists with de-jigging of units.  Monitors braze cycles using computer screens.  Requires previous furnace operation experience and basic knowledge of vacuum pumps and brazing process.  Ability to operate a forklift.  Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

SAP Document Control Clerk

Supports a project team by handling incoming and out-going customer submittal projects specific documents for engineering and quality department.  Issues drawings to the shop.  Maintains records of all drawing and calculation submittals to and from the customer and to the shop.  Creates, adjusts, and maintains files.             Adds parts to and/or revises parts in the Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP to match drawings, including cost and part shop routing data.  Confers with document originators or project / sales / engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.  High school diploma or General Education degree (GED). Must be able to read and understand Bills of Materials on drawings.  Minimum of two years of Bills of Materials data entry and revisions in SAP experience required.  Minimum of two years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) experience required.

Production/Material Planner

Responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing, and managing production orders to meet customer and production demands.  Review sales orders and supporting documents for correctness, inspection, codes, special parts or procedures.  Formulate a delivery date based on material availability and capacity in the plant.  Change or add parts to bills of material as required to fulfill production needs.  Change or add operations to routings as required to fulfill production needs.  Ensure all materials are received on time to maintain production schedule.  Develop and recommend modifications to existing processes and methodologies with a constant focus on continuous improvement.  Release and print production orders as well as assemble job jackets with all required documents.  Setup and maintain safety stocks on semi-finished goods.  Requires knowledge of SAP.  Requires a college degree or 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing-related field.  Must be computer literate (Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook).

Project Engineer

Responsible for developing and coordinating carefully designed and approved action plans to successfully complete projects. Act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the Operations activities, including Engineering, Sales and the Customer; assure all parties maintain close communication and coordination regarding project status and milestones; maintain project schedules. Require (5) years’ experience as project manager in manufacturing; BS in engineering; PMP certification and training a plus. SAP software experience required.

Maintenance Technician

Responsible for performing activities concerned with maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant.  Ability to repair and maintain overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes and other types of machinery require diagnosing and making solid recommendations to repair all equipment as needed.  Must have knowledge in repairing, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems.  Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to the sounds to locate cause of trouble.  Perform monthly inspections on all production equipment and replacement parts. Confer with department managers to coordinate monthly inspections.  Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections; repair or replace defective parts; install special functional and structural parts in devices.  Lubricate and clean parts. Start devices to test their performance. Operate overhead and jib cranes, operate industrial forklifts and manlifts.  Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.  Electrical certification preferred.

Experience working in SAP; Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.    Ability to read and interpret documents, Ability to write routing reports and correspondence.  Ability to drive forklift and operate overhead cranes.

Code Welder

Responsible for performing a variety of more complex welding functions to include Tig and Flux Cored Arc Welding on carbon and stainless steel plates and pipes, including carbon to stainless weldments. Welder must have the ability to weld both gasket plate heat exchanger and brazed plate heat exchanger, using high alloy metals. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders; successfully complete Dual Shield Test; Prefer 3-5 years of experience in Tig and FCAW welding. Must pass Tig 6G pipe weld test and 2G GTAW plate test.

Responsible for preparing job sets for brazing operations and flat plate heat exchangers; must have basic computer skills; able to read blueprints and quality work instructions; use of overhead crane, ability to drive forklift; Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

Department Manager

Responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the department within an ASME Code Shop in processing materials or manufacturing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow within the Structure department. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers coordinating other functions such as production, inventory management and quality assurance in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and to meet delivery dates. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Requires Supervisory leadership skills with a high school diploma or GED; minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing management. SAP experience preferred.

Effective communication skills and the ability to understand the needs and requirements of management. Inventory/warehouse experience to include experience with SAP and 10-key.

Prefer 2-3 years industrial manufacturing experience with strong leadership skills, with previous supervisor experience, creating a positive team atmosphere; Responsible for receiving all deliveries and performs inventory control functions in a fast-paced work environment. Welding Leadman

Responsible for overseeing the Frame Construction department in all aspects; i.e., supervisory, quality, maintenance, accountability, and safety, etc. Must possess a broader knowledge of welding technique and experience in order to troubleshoot, instruct, and properly maintain work area. Utilize knowledge of ASME, Machining, Blasting, Painting, and Fabrication in order to meet productivity standards. Interpret completed blueprints and work orders in order to instruct work flow. Completes proper documentation and records; maintain production and work flow. Requires high school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in all welding areas (Mig, Tig, and Stick). Experience with Paint Systems and Machining Area preferred.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsible for designing air-cooled heat exchangers per customer specification and American Society of Mechanical Engineering codes. Prepare design calculations and customer drawings for the above scope of work. This includes creating the tube layout, running American Society of Mechanical Engineering Code calculations for box headers and designing the fan drive. Check designs and drawings of other Mechanical Design Engineers. Communicate with sales, customer, shop and detail drafters. General knowledge of welded steel fabrication practices. Good drafting skills. Computer skills must include Windows, AutoCAD, 3D modeling, MathCAD, Excel and Word. Working knowledge of American Society of Mechanical Engineering Code (Section VIII, Division 1), American Petroleum Institute 661 and American Institute of Steel Construction. Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of 10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prefer SAP experience.

 

Detail Drafter

Responsible for hands-on CAD drafting position. Responsible for the creation of working drawings and related data for existing and new products. All work will be produced to the correct drawing and industry standards as defined by the Engineering department. Prepare manufacturing drawings and associated data to meet technical specifications, drawing standards and codes within a timely and accurate manner. Prepare 2D/3D models and drawings using Inventor software. Create Bills of Materials and routings. Operate in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system. Provide technical guidance to Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Services. Understand and apply the relevant drawing, regulatory and industry standards. Communicate with mechanical design engineers and shop personnel. Requires general knowledge of welded steel fabrication practices, drafting skills (3D assembly and part modeling, 2D parts drawings and flat patterns), computer skills must include Windows and Microsoft Office, familiarity with American Petroleum Institute 661, and familiarity with OSHA requirements. Occasional travel for site visits and exhibitions. Requires either an Associate’s degree in CAD Drafting and Design with a minimum of one (1) year of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with classes in the fundamentals and principals of CAD design plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience, SAP experience required. Must be available to travel international for training.

Prefer Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting is preferred, SAP software experience with 5 years accounting experience working with mid-sized company.

Product Design Specialist – Design plate heat exchangers per customer specification; Prepare design calculations and customer drawings running American Society of Mechanical Engineering Code calculations; designing component parts; creating assembly/detail drawings for customer orders; creating basis documents for production orders; completing SAP Material Masters, Bill of Materials and Routings; and generating ASCE load and structural analyses. Required Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or 10 years related experience; 2+ years of experience with Solid Works, good drafting skills with SAP Material Masters, Bill of Materials and Routings; SAP software experience required.

Logistics – Picking and packing plate and gasket operations; must have basic computer skills; ability to read and interpret documents; use of overhead crane, ability to drive forklift; Prefer 2-5 years in industrial experience.

Press Operator – Set up and operate robot automation, maintaining and troubleshooting the press equipment, manually editing the machine controls and program all press parameters for all sizes. Must have good math skills associated with measurement; use of overhead crane; able to read blueprints and quality work instructions; good communication skills; prefer 2-5 years industrial experience.

Tool & Die Maker – Responsible for producing tools, dies, and special guiding and holding devices that enable current machines to produce heat exchangers by measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, and/or boring pieces of metal to form die; prefer 3-5 years of proven Tool & Die experience.

Quality Control Inspectors – Perform Nondestructive testing (NDT), inspections and daily quality plate inspections; must have previous experience working with calipers, micrometers, and other related inspection measurement tools; ability to read blueprints and quality work instructions; good communication skills both oral and written, and intermediate computer skills; prefer 2-5 years industrial experience.

Machinists – Set up and operate a variety of machine tools (lathes, milling machines) to produce precision parts, layout, and machining procedures; Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers; ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings; prefer 2-5 years industrial experience.

Maintenance Craftsman – To independently evaluate a job situation, determine an appropriate and cost effective course of action to perform the required work; must be able to repair, build, install, and maintain craft-related issues. Must be proficient in mechanics, machining, electrical, electronic, Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs), pneumatics, hydraulics and/or welding; prefer 3-5 years industrial experience.

Advanced Research Chemicals, Inc. is actively seeking Chemical Operators to join its growing team. The successful candidate will report to the Production Lead Operator and assist in the production of finished chemical products. This position requires accurate completion of documentation, forklift operation and basic equipment maintenance. Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is a plus, but not necessary.
